I am currently knitting with Opal's Bedtime Stories 9895 "Grandma Lilly and the Magic Broom". It's a beautiful muted colourway perfect for men's socks.
The Nova Cubics needles have been a lifesaver for me. I have joint pain in my hands and the cuboid shape takes the strain out of knitting - especially helpful when I get into that "just one more row" mindset to see the pattern coming together!
I highly recommend using a row counter to keep track of your knitting. I used to just mark tallies on a piece of paper which interrupted my flow. I wish I'd started using a counter sooner!
