Two little rag dolls to sew using thin cottons or cotton blends, stuffing and a sewing kit. You can machine or hand sew them (or even do a little of each!) The same goes for the clothes but the tricky tiny armholes and sleeves may be easiest to stitch by hand.
If you're only going to make one doll you can get away with a black and red ball point pen for the faces but if you're going to make several it may be worth investing in some fabric pens. Or why not stitch your own faces?

30 x 35cm piece of plain cotton in flesh colour of choice
Shoes: Small piece of cotton for shoes
Clothes: A selection of thin cottons
